These things are pretty much a must for me snowboarding now. They have saved me from a broken tailbone practicing on rails more than once now. They are a bit bulky and take a while to break in but the padding is great and you don't really notice the bulk once you get going. Sizing felt accurate for me.
Great as description, fast shipping!
After doing so research and trying to find something that would fit my 10yr old daugther I saw these and thought we would give them a try. I ended up ordering a Medium based on the sizing chart and they fit great over cuddle duds. She is doing competitive snowboarding and these have given her the confidence she needed to push herself and not be afraid to fall. She loves them and says it doesn't hurt when she falls while going off jumps, rails or boxes.
So far so good. I bought these to do step aerobics. I have done it for 14 years and recently took a tumble that resulting multiple fractures. I figured if I fall again it would offer protection. They are much nicer than I expected at the price point. I have been washing in my washer on delicate and hanging to dry. I followed the sizing recommended by waist and hip inches and it worked perfectly. I normally wear a medium, but purchased the L. Haven't fallen yet, so I can't really speak to the shock absorbtion aspect.
Great for my five years old..we got X small as my son has a small waist and usually wear 4 years old pants.he wear on top of his thin pants..but i thonk for thicker pants ; the small size might be better selection. It actually looks very nice in black and can be placed on top of black pants and nobody really sees the cushions. we got it for my son rollerblading lesson on ramps..as fall can be very painful!
Only used twice, but coming back from a broken leg, I needed the mental strength these gave me the illusion of. They made it, I made it, and they are solid. Recommend for tailbone protection as well.
Do order 1 size larger! I will give it 4.5 stars because it's not true to size, but consider the price and quality, I am still going to give it 5 stars. Please watch my video for detail review.
I'm a waist size 42, and I use these (the largest size) when rollerblading in order to protect myself. I'm an absolute beginner at it, and these make me feel protected. I've fallen on them a couple of times and they're really great, I feel absolutely no pain. They fit the tiniest bit tight (because I'm large) but because they're compact enough, I wear them under my baggyish jeans and nobody knows the difference!
